We have a book called the Mine O Saur, its about a Dinosaur who takes all the toys, and snacks from all of the rest of the dino’s and runs around saying MINE MINE MINE. Pretty soon the Mine O Saur has all the toys and no one to play with, and he decides he’d rather have friends than all the toys. So he gives all the toys back to the other Dino’s, and they all play together. When we first got this book, I thought it was cute, but that was about it. We don’t spend much time reading it, its not really one of the books on Lindens list of favorites. But after some recent events in our house, I totally get why someone wrote this book, and I think maybe we should start reading it to Linden more often.Reason 1:
The Cheerleaders had their end of season banquet this week, and as a Thank You gave me a mall gift card and one of the cheer parents made these cute light blocks.
It’s sort of hard to tell in this picture, but there are lights inside. Anyway Kathy dropped this off at our house the other night and Matt plugged it in for Linden. She really liked it. Of course anything new peaks the interest of the cat, so he wandered over to take a sniff at it. Out of no where Linden jumps up runs over and pushes him out of the way and says MINE!Reason 2:
Last night was even worse, not only did she push the cat away from her sippy cup, snack bowl, the light and her dolly stroller, she then picked up the sippy, pushed the doll stroller over by the light, sat in the stroller put the sippy under her arm and guarded the light. No way was the cat going to get near any of her stuff.
